Autumn Dale '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Autumn Dale and I am a senior at Grundy High School, in Grundy Virginia. I started running my sophomore year of school and hope to continue through college. I have competed in many different events from the 55-meter dash to the 4x800-meter relay, as well as many field events. I am willing to try new things because it challenges me to get outside of my comfort zone and improve my overall skill set. I am a reliable athlete ready to step up when needed and help the team in any way necessary. As a student-athlete at a small school, I participate in many different sports, which include volleyball, cheerleading, tennis, and track. By being involved in multiple sports I am a well-rounded athlete who has experience in different fields of training. Before I joined the track team I always dreaded running at practices, but now I have found a love and passion for running. Although jumping is what my heart truly is set on. 

I not only excel on the jumping boards during track but also in the classroom. I have a 4.0 GPA and all A’s. I have taken one AP class in my high school career and passed with a 3. I also take dual enrollment classes through Southwest Community College and the A. Linwood Holton Governors School, such as Bio 101, Bio 102, US History, pre-calculus, Statistics, Government, Evniromental Science 121, Environmental Science 122, Advanced Multimedia, and Psychology. I am a part of many after school clubs such as the beta club, key club, FBLA, and more.
