Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to attain my bachelor's and master’s degree to become a certified athletic trainer with a minor in psychology. Running track as a college athlete is my dream, I look forward to the opportunity to work with coaches to improve technique, become a stronger competitor and demonstrate my commitment in both academics and athleticism.
Academics has always come first and I have challenged myself over the years taking AP and Honors courses while maintaining a high GPA. Competed at varsity level track competitions during indoor and outdoor since my freshman year and was also a member of the volleyball team for three years. I always have a positive attitude, but I am also my biggest critic in an effort to push myself to do better. Over the years I have developed a passion for track and field, I condition and train year-round and compete during the summer with the track club.
I love seeing the results of my hard work and commitment payoff each time I reach a new personal record, but more than that I love when my team has success and we all share and celebrate the feeling of achievement.
