- God has given me a fierce passion for volleyball, so I desire to further it to bless Him. I am determined to become not just a better player but a better person every time I step onto the court for God, myself, and my teammates. If I have learned anything from playing sports, it is that to lead a team to success, one must be committed and willing to make sacrifices. I prefer to be held accountable, and I know the importance of positively instilling accountability into my teammates as well. Even when I feel as though I’m not having the best practice or game, I know that it isn’t about me or my feelings. Therefore, I encourage myself and my teammates to press forward because when you play on a team, you win and lose as a team.
