Personal Statement

Hi my name is Jamia Smith. I am 17 years old and i have been playing volleyball since the 6th grade. Volleyball has truly changed my life. I have learned to be a leader and how to push hard enough to reach my full potential. It has shown me that I love new challenges and being push to my limit. I also enjoy working with my team and other former volleyball players so that we can better ourselves and each other. I want to improve everything that I struggle with so that I can reach my ultimate goal for my future.

Alabama performance allows me to accomplish my goals. I get to condition twice a week and play volleyball 3 times a week. During the season i feel stronger and satisfied with my progress . I love this club and everyone in it, we all help each other to sustain our goals.

This year i got added on another team on alabama performance after my season on birmingham elite. I played outside and right side. I also pass sometimes.

The best experience of my life. I got to play with an older team and i thrived. I was really pushed to the limit and i loved every single second. This club has really pushed me hard to reach my full potential. I also made amazing friends playing this amazing sport. i was also a starter outside and played all around
