My name is Ta'Maya Coman. I am in the eighth grade. I started playing volleyball in the fourth grade and discovered I was pretty good at it. Acknowledging that fact, I began to train, excel in my skills, and attend volleyball camps. I have played on varsity since the seventh grade, and I have played club volleyball for two years now. My love for volleyball is out of this world and has helped me create collegiate goals and dreams for myself. Playing with a range of people has reminded me of my character. It has reminded me that although winning is exciting, at the end of the day having fun is all that matters. It has also reminded me to stay humble and has allowed me to make many friends. Although my athletic ability is excellent, my grades come first. I maintain a 4.0 GPA, and I've been accepted into the National Junior Honor Society. That said, I strive to continue excelling in my skills and staying on top of all of my schoolwork because I know the future holds what is yet to come for me.
