Up until then, I tried a variety of sports I enjoyed, but volleyball captured my heart. I began playing club ball after my eighth grade season at the advice of my coach. I decided after that season, I would enjoy playing volleyball at the collegiate level.My coaches praise my hard-working spirit, and they appreciate that I am coachable. I give my all every time I hit the court. As captain of my team, I lead by example. I encourage my teammates throughout every game. One of my strongest assets is my ability to see the court and the plays. I am quick on the court, and I never give up on the ball.Academically, I have maintained my place on the A honor roll throughout my school career. I currently hold a 4.1 GPA while taking AP and honors courses. In addition I am a member of National Honor Society and have been accepted into the medical academy at my school. I enjoy being a youth leader for my church youth group as well. Both groups encourage a strong service oriented ethic.I really want volleyball to be a part of my life , even after college, whether it is as a club coach or a high school coach. In order to reach this goal most seamlessly, I need to play college volleyball. I am looking for the best match where I can continue building my skills, playing competitively at the highest level for my university, and attaining a degree where I can contribute as a working citizen and can support myself.
