Personal Statement

I am a leader on and off the court.  I am very active in First United Methodist Church and was chosen to be on our Youth Leadership team.  I am a member of youth choir and a volunteer for Family Promise.  Family Promise is a missions program that helps homeless families get back on their feet and integrated back into the community.  Outside of school and club volleyball, I enjoy recreational golf and tennis and especially love wake surfing most weekends on Lake Martin.  During the summers, I work at my mom's dental office.  I am very friendly and love being with others.  I have dreamed of playing volleyball collegiately ever since I began playing 8 years ago.  I would be a great addition to your team because I am a leader,  a dedicated player, and will always be willing to push myself to my limits for my team.
