I am planning on graduating in 2024, but I will enter college with the 2025 class. I will be taking a gap year due to health struggles, and would like to get my allergens under control as well before going off to college. This time of healing that I am preparing to begin will help me be more active and therefore play volleyball with renewed strength.
I want to be an artist, and am very interested in playing volleyball in college as well. I am an outside hitter, and absolutely love the sport. I am set on being an excellent student athlete. I take academics seriously, that is why I am a member of the National Honors Society and the recipient of our state athletic association's student athlete award. I believe academics will help get the career that I would like. Not only am I a student of academics but I'm also a student of volleyball. I enjoy learning new plays, tactics, and techniques and I am not afraid to apply them in a game. Sports is a necessary outlet for me and it is very important to me to keep my mind and body in shape and to maintain the bonds of a team on and off the court. I have a natural 24 inch vertical. I plan to multiply this talent God has given me now and in the future.
I am a strong Christian, but I do struggle and doubt in some areas. Much as I talk about being a student and an athlete, my faith comes first, so this is very important to me. I want to strengthen it so I can become more sure of my walk with Jesus. I am looking for a school that will help me accomplish my goals.
