After trying one sport after another once I came across volleyball I instantly had a burning passion for the sport. Iv’e been playing volleyball since the age of 10 and started playing competitively at age 12. After playing and being involved with volleyball for so long it’s hard not to see myself going to play in post secondary. I’m a very hard driven athlete who’d take the opportunity to up their game any time and any way. Playing at a college level is an opportunity I’d kill for as an athlete. 

What makes me a valuable player on a team consists of a variety of things. I’d consider myself a strong team leader and a teammate who brings lots of energy and hustle to the game. As a libero I’m extremely vocal on the court and I’m very confident in my abilities to read the play and make quick decisions as to where the ball will be. While being quick on my feet I never fail to put my all on the court in a game and I’m always ready to compete. With my learning mindset and determination I‘m a very coachable open minded athlete.

 As a student athlete I don’t only put time and effort into sports but also my academic life. Though I want to attend a university or college I’m still undecided on my major. I’m a clever student with a strong work ethic pushing myself every day in order to achieve the grades and academic accomplishments I strive for. I want to find a school that suits me where I’m able to excel both athletically and academically.
