Volleyball has become such a big part of my life, both on and off the court. The dedication I have put into this sport has shaped me into the player I am today. I was always pushed to be the best I could be by my friends, family, and coaches, and that pushing has gotten me to the wonderful place I am right now. Being a Freshman in Varsity is a big jump from just starting volleyball 2 years ago, but, I have learned that just from a bit of concentration and a hardworking mindset anything is possible! Ever since I held volleyball in my 7th grade PE class I knew instantly that I wanted to excel in volleyball and learn more things about myself and the sport.
There were always people saying that I could do anything I put my mind to, and then there were some people who wanted to see me fail. Those obstacles made me work a little bit harder every time I got on a court. Whatever the outcome of a game or practice, there will always be a smile on my face and my head held high. But, I am always a student first so academic grades always come before getting on the court. I am inspired to be the best I can person and athlete I can be. I can't wait to continue growing and making memories on the court.
