Hailee Gerner '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hailee Gerner. I am a 5'6" setter on the Varsity volleyball team at Gravette High School. I have been playing club volleyball for 5 years and high school volleyball for 3 years. As a freshman, I was moved up to the Junior Varsity team and earned a starting position in every game. Recently I moved with my family from Illinois to Arkansas where I made the Varsity team as a setter and have started in 52/53 sets, with more than 400 assists and an average of 8.1 assists per set, the highest assist percent in my conference. My goals for high school are to maintain a 4.0 GPA while continuing to pursue challenging honors and AP courses. I also desire to continue participating in clubs and extracurricular activities offered at the high school. In addition, I would like to continue to work my part-time job. My academic goals for college are to maintain a high GPA on my general education requirements in the pre-dental program, in order to be accepted into Dental School. I pride myself on my dedication to my training and giving 100% effort in every practice I attend. I am a team player, yet I work well independently improving my personal skill set.
