2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
When I was in middle school I became aware of the possibility of playing volleyball in college, and ever since then, I have known that that is my main goal. I am always playing, thinking, or talking about volleyball, and I couldn't imagine not continuing to play volleyball. Volleyball has taught me so many life lessons such as perseverance, persistence, setting goals, and time management.
My perfect college consists of a tight-knit and active student body, challenging courses, a great biology program, and a volleyball team that feels like a family and doesn't settle for less than 100% effort. I bring lots of loud energy and excitement, hard work, and love to my volleyball teams. Every chance I get, I am in the gym early and late getting extra setting reps and learning new skills, so I can put my hitters in the best positions possible to score.
Outside of volleyball, I enjoy finding new recipes to cook or bake for my family, hiking and shopping with my friends, doing crafts such as making friendship bracelets and DIY decorations, and organizing anything I find that is messy.
