I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and have absolutely loved the sport since I first stepped on the court. Playing college ball has always been a personal goal of mine. Most of my experience is in the Libero position. However, as a 5' 3" freshman with over a 24" vertical, I was encouraged to give the outside Hitter position a try. I actually enjoyed the change and was even given an award for most kills during that season. I continued to play as an Outside hitter through my Sophomore year. At the beginning of my Junior year, with the goal of playing in college in mind, I gave up the outside hitter position to concentrate on my defensive game. I worked hard to get my Libero position back and have been the starting varsity Libero for the last two years. With 9 seasons, between School and Club ball, under my belt, I feel I would be a beneficial player to any team as I am versatile, I always give 100% to everything I do, and with my leadership ability I naturally influence those around me to do the same.
