My goal in the future is to become a veterinarian. I plan to major in Biochemistry and pursue volleyball in college. What make me different is my devotion. I've never done club volleyball I've only done volleyball through school since 5th grade. With out club experience I've always felt at a disadvantage compared to some of the girl, but my devotion to persevere on and off the court allowed me to become the athlete I am today. I've made my varsity volleyball team as a starter at independence high school, I was nominated MVP of the game by the kern high school district, and I made the ALL-STAR TEAM my senior year. These awards have made me very proud for the work I've done to grow without a club team. My devotion allows me to look ahead and push throw! During the playoffs I had sprained my ankle pretty bad, but I wrapped it and continued to play not for me but for my team because I was the starting setter, and I knew being out one would affect us so much. As I continue to grow, I'm looking forward for a college experience to learn and grow so much more!
