Hello Coaches, My name is Kylie Dickerson, and I am a Junior at Vistamar High School. I have been playing Volleyball since the sixth grade and started playing club volleyball my freshman year. Since first stepping on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. Playing in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. Volleyball is my favorite sport because it is competitive and incredibly intimate between the team. Throughout my volleyball journey, I have played middle-blocker. Starting this club year, I have begun to play Opposite Hitter and love both. My ultimate goal is to play volleyball in college and major in business. I have solid hitting skills, strong physical defense, and mental toughness. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest-working players on my team. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am a member of my school's Black Student Union and a Student Ambassador. I often volunteer through my Jack and Jill of America organization and a local nonprofit called Bigger Than Us.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the volleyball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers in my community and make my parents proud
