My name is Alex Cuan, and I am a freshman, graduating class of 2026. I currently play opposite on the Granada Hills Charter High School varsity team in Granada Hills, California, I made the 2022 West Valley All League second team, won the Open Division CIF Championships, and am mentioned in paragraph six of LA Times, “Girls’ volleyball: Year of the Freshman arrives in City Section.”
I’ve been playing volleyball for 6 years. I am currently playing a year up as the outside/opposite at LAVA North Volleyball Club on their 16’s Molten team.
In school, I carry a 3.8 GPA and I’m in my fourth year of Mandarin. I enjoy; drawing, watching shows on Netflix, and hanging out with friends and family, traveling and community service. I’m as passionate about learning in the classroom as I am about playing on the court. I am coachable and work hard to reach my goals in all that I do. I am a supportive teammate and cheer loud during practice and games. My goal is to play in college and join a national team.
