Personal Statement
Since I discovered volleyball 7 years ago, I haven’t looked back. I love the sport and I want to continue my journey playing at the collegiate level. I train almost daily with my team, and I also do one on one fitness and skill improvement training; I have always played 6 rotations as a setter and right-side hitter in top 12 SCVA/PVL teams. However, for the past 2 years I have played 1 year up, and I love the challenge. Even though I am not very tall I compensate well with my technical, tactical, physical, and mental abilities that are evident on the court. I also played 6 rotations as an outside hitter in my high school earning the MVP award and All League and 2021 Inland Empire Varsity girl’s 2nd team. I pride myself for being a coachable team player that works very hard to make our team successful.
2021 was a difficult year for me personally, as it has been for many, but that did not deter me from my enthusiasm of playing volleyball and I feel that I am stronger and more committed than ever.
I am looking for the opportunity to prove myself in and out of the court to an athletically and academically competitive University
