Lauren Villar '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to just keep playing volleyball. I want to be able to become one of the starting and most important players on a team and help us get some type of title and go far with the season. I believe I am a good candidate because of my leadership skills. I am comfortable with being loud on and off the court and with constantly talking to my teammates in a game, practice, or outside of volleyball. My leadership skills and ability to communicate well with new people can really bring unity and strength to a team. Besides my social and leadership skills I bring to the team, athletically I bring in aggressiveness. I am s very aggressive hitter and defender. I put everything into an hit when it’s necessary and do my best to be as fast as I can on the court. Other than my social and athletic skills, I am academically skilled as well. I have a 4.0 overall gpa and I am enrolled in multiple AP classes and honors programs. I am great at taking in new material and trying my best to truly understand new concepts. I believe I am a strong candidate for your team.
