Brooke Schein '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooke Schein. I am a Junior at Xavier College Preparatory High School this year. I am a 6'0" MB and Rightside hitter. I am a team player and can anticipate each play. I am a consistent player whom my coaches often comment on my expectation and determination for every hit and block I make.  I have played volleyball for 5 years now and am about to start my third season of club volleyball at Rancho Valley Volleyball Club on the 17 Select team.  I have played varsity volleyball for my school since freshmen year and plan to continue playing throughout my high school experience. I also practice beach volleyball for my school on the off-seasons and do as much as I can to stay fit and ready to play. 

Off of the court, I challenge myself to be as involved in my community as possible. I have become an elected officer of the Student Leadership Council at my school as well as a member of the National Honors Society. I have won countless awards for my work ethic and resourceful thinking at school and plan on continuing on this path.  

My collegiate goals are to challenge myself as a student and athlete to obtain an efficient and perceptive character. One of my greatest strengths includes being a quick learner and a coachable player. I am able to keep an open mind and receive feedback and execute appropriately.  I am always driven to find new challenges for myself due to my passion, determination, and strong-willed mindset. I keep myself studying the game of volleyball by rewatching game film and college games as well. I always try my best to be the best athlete, sister, daughter, and student I can be.
