Nyla Carr '24 Recruiting Profile

 Hello Coaches! My name is Nyla Carr. I grew up in Perris, CA and attend Orange Vista High School. I have been playing volleyball since I was about 12 years old, and have developed so much love and passion for the game. So far, throughout my volleyball experience I am dedicated and prepared to face any and all challenges that I go through, and desire to develop even more as I continue to play. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, working out, and painting. As of right now I aspire to have a career in a Kinesiology or Sports Medicine program in college.

I am an Outside Hitter for my high school team and a Middle Blocker for my club team. Adjusting to the positions during different seasons is challenging, but it teaches me how to be more of a versatile and well a rounded athlete. On and off the court, I care to make sure that I have great relationships with my teammates and coaches. I'm aware of my mistakes and I ask how to fix them, so that I can experience to learn and grow from them. I will give a 110% effort to get to the next level in volleyball and make sure that I stay encouraged and motivated throughout the process to become the best player I can be.
