Genesis Hautau '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi or Malolelei or Talofa!! My name is Genesis Hautau. I am 17 years old and the class of 2023. I live in East Palo Alto, California.  I speak 2 languages, English and Tongan. I am mixed Polynesian of Tongan and Samoan. My college goals I want to accomplish is to major into Communication Studies and as well as Music major.  My height as 5'10 and I have played setter, outside and middle.  I am very different as a player because I love to help people with any struggles and just a very cheerful and goofy player. I am also spend time with my family and enjoy singing and playing instruments. Academically, I work very hard and put my mind into school first as then doing everything in my life as it follows to make my family proud because we don't have Financial aid and as the oldest child, I have to make my family proud and doing volleyball is what I love with passion.
