Hello Coaches,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Nya Sapp, and I am thrilled to be part of the class of 2027. I wanted to take a moment to share with you my deep passion for volleyball and my aspirations as a student-athlete. Volleyball holds a special place in my heart—it's not just a game; it's a driving force that makes me better in every aspect of my life.

My goals and aspirations regarding college are to be apart of a college where I can continue to grow as a student, an athlete and a leader in society. I am looking forward to playing for a competitive college where not only I can continue to develop my skills and grow as an athlete but also help in the growth of my team. I want to be apart of a college where I will be challenged and continue to grow as an individual.  A college with a strong sense of family and community is crucial. To thrive, I need strong connections with friends, family and piers. I know academics and sports are important, I also know a positive social circle is extremely important for my well- being and personal growth. 

I believe what sets me apart as a valuable candidate for your team is my commitment to excellence and always trying my best. Whether it's on the court during intense practice sessions, games or navigating life challenges, I always strive to give my best shot. This dedication is not only seen in my athletic performance but also in my approach to academics and personal growth.

Beyond the volleyball court, I maintain a commitment to fitness and well-being. Regular workouts and weight training are integral to my routine, not only to enhance my performance in the game but also to ensure my overall health and well-being. I take pride in staying active, and I find joy in the positive impact it has on both my athletic abilities, mental health and daily life. This commitment to fitness isn't just for the game; it's a reflection of my desire to feel good about myself and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Volunteering also holds a special place in my heart. I am involved with The Rotary Club, Childrens Hunger Fund, and Wags and Walks. This past Thanksgiving '23 was very special to me. Together, my father and I were able to deliver complete meals to 34 families in need. Seeing the joy in their faces, especially the children, was a very rewarding experience. It is moments like these that remind me of the importance of making a positive difference wherever I can. In addition to my involvement in sports and community service, I am passionate about taking on leadership roles in various after-school activities and clubs. This has taught me valuable skills in teamwork, effective communication, and taking on responsibilities—a foundation that I believe will not only benefit me in volleyball but in all aspects of my life.  During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I believe maintaining a balanced lifestyle where playing sports, contributing to the community, and spending quality time with loved ones all play a role in my growth. It's this balance that fuels my strength, both on and off the court.

I am eager to bring my dedication, work ethic, and diverse skill set to your team. I believe I stand out as a candidate not only for my athletic abilities but also for my commitment to personal growth, community service, and leadership.
