My name is Kylie Proctor and I attend Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, CA. I am a member of the graduating class of 2023. I play as a middle blocker for my high school's varsity volleyball team. I will be playing on the 18 premier club team at Rancho Valley Volleyball Club this upcoming club season. Academics are very important to me. This will be my 4th year in AVID and it's always been my dream to go to college and play volleyball. I'm looking forward to my senior year and excited to find a college that challenges me in both athletics and academics.
I started playing volleyball in 6th grade. Up until that point I had never even touched a volleyball before! I instantly fell in love with the sport. I'm positive I only made my middle school team because I was the tallest girl at tryouts. I may have instantly fell in love with the sport, but it took several years of hard work and dedication to get to the competitive level I am at now. I continue to strive to be a better player. Coaches always tell me that I have a great attitude and I am very coachable. Volleyball has taught me that if you really want something and are willing to put in the hard work, no dream is too big!
