Personal Statement
Hey coaches! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to view my profile. I know you have a lot of candidates for your team so thank you for considering me!
I have been an athlete for over 8 years playing both basketball and volleyball. My coachability, persistence, and work ethic are all characteristics that lead me in being a great candidate to play college volleyball. I am currently a 6”4 middle touching 10”1 with approach. I have played the middle position for three years but I’m very willing to be put into other positions! I am a great leader and I have been voted captain for 2 of the three years that I have played volleyball. I have always been the first person to get to practices to set up nets and the last person to leave. I am constantly striving for improvement as a person and as an athlete. I was awarded the most improved player on my high school team at Ralston valley. I am also enrolled in AP language and literature and I have taken honors English since freshman year.
It is my dream to play in college and make it to that next level! I am open to playing in any division, and I desire to find my best fit above all else. I would also be thankful for the opportunity to be redshirted or have the chance to be a walk on! I am flexible in finding a new place to love and become attached to. I am undecided on what I want to study and do in college and I would like to get my prerequisites if I am still undecided when the time comes. I would love to learn about any scholarship opportunities available!
