Personal Statement

My name is Charli James and I am a Libero/DS for the class of 2023.  I have played volleyball for 8 years.  I love to challenge myself to be better every time I step on the court, not only for myself but also for how can I support my teammates.  I believe to achieve greatness, you also have to be a role model on and off the court  

I am searching for the best blend of high-level volleyball and academic excellence. I am a pretty good student who wants to be a CEO of a company someday, so being at the right school is very important to me.   I love to compete and also want to be academically challenged in business and entrepreneurship.  It is also important that I align with my coach's philosophy in order to be the best that I can be for my team.

I go into practice and games ready to lead.  I work daily to improve my mind.  I work daily to be stronger & faster.   I am the hardest worker in the room.
