Hi! My name is Aislin ('Ash-lin') Oldach. I have lived in Broomfield, CO since I was born with my Mom, Dad, 14 year old brother, and our goldendoodle, Molly. I am a starting 6-rotation Outside & Right Side Hitter on the indoor Varsity volleyball team at Legacy High School, a 5A school, and I am excited to join the Front Range Volleyball Club 17-1 Black team for the 24-25 club season, where I get to train with Olympic and NDTP Coaches and incredibly talented teammates.
I also played as a Blocker with The Lab beach volleyball club during the summer of 2023 in the 18U Open division. Throughout elementary and middle school, I was a multi-sport athlete participating in soccer, cross country, basketball, flag football, and volleyball, earning "Athlete of the Year" in my middle school in 2022. I narrowed my focus to volleyball in high school as I love playing both indoor and beach and really want to work toward playing competitively in college. It helps that my parents both played college volleyball and continue to play recreationally, both indoor and beach doubles, so our whole family plays together.
My indoor and beach coaches have described me as being "mentally tough", "calm", and "cool" even in extremely competitive and challenging game situations, which helps my team let go of mistakes and focus on the next play. Also, I voted Captain of my club team last year.
I'm a focused student, taking STEM, honors and AP classes, with the goal of doing well academically and finding a healthy balance with other things that make me happy. When I am not studying or playing volleyball, I love to bake, travel with my family, backpack, cuddle with my dog, dog sit, and spend time with good friends.
I look forward to connecting with you!
