Isabella Svoboda '23 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember, my love for sports has led me to be driven and determined to play for as long as possible. The passion I have developed for volleyball blossomed the harder I worked and the more involved I became, along with the support and collaboration of friends, family, mentors, and coaches. I learned the importance of hard work, confidence, and positivity in the process of improvement, nothing was going to come easily. In my high school career, I moved from a larger school(3A) to a smaller school(2A), which pushed me to put in even more work and improve my skillset. I can play any position and continue to work in all areas. From a younger age up into my most recent years, I have set out on a goal to be a team leader as well as set an example for the rest of my peers, both on and off of the court. One of the biggest components I learned is positivity. Creating a positive and healthy environment to encourage and motivate both me and the team is extremely important to me.
