As a student athlete I understand how important it is to prioritize. For example, school, sports, and your mental health. I believe that I will be a good fit for a collage athlete because I have practiced the balance of school, volleyball, social life, mental health and it has been one of the most productive processes I´ve experienced. I have learned an insane amount form volleyball. I have come out of my shell and learned to communicate, be a leader on and off the court, learning respect and sportsmanship and much more. As a collage student athlete I believe I can help the environment among a team positively. I want to teach and affect everyone I play with weather that means teaching sportsmanship and mental health and more. I believe that collage volleyball is a brilliant way for me to keep developing my character and figure out more about who I am as a person or as a player. I became super interested in volleyball in 8th grade. From the moment I picked up a ball to my first game I have fallen in love with the game. One of the most important things volleyball has tough me is how important your mind is. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and a panic attack disorder I understand how important this is. The stress before that first serve-receive point, the last breath before you serve, the moment when you see a small touch all of those moments are effected by your mindset. Those moments before these points are so crucial to use your positive self talk, deep breathing and more. I want to put my all into this collage and team. I want be become the best player I can be. Skill wise, I am very Mobil and flexible on the court and I´m not afraid to hit the floor. When I am on the court it is my job to never let a ball hit the floor. Other than my skill my attitude and communication is a big strength of mine. I am very consistent when it comes to reassurance, positive talk, and positive reinforcement, which has a move effective way to calm a service run rather than ¨One pass¨. My communication is also very important because as a libero I must be a leader on the court. Weather that is calling for every ball, signaling seems, encouragement, and general court knowledge I never fail to communicate on the court.
