Jamella Weir '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jamella Weir, I am currently a 10th grader at Watkinson school.  I aspire to not only play volleyball but to study business in college. Though my volleyball career first started in middle school, specifically 7th grade, I didn't start to play seriously until my freshmen year of high school, and even this was a rough start due to COVID.  It was only until this year (2021) that I was playing competitively in tournaments for my school's volleyball season, HVAL tournament, and a separate New England tournament. I try as hard as I can to surround myself with volleyball, whether it's watching college, Olympic, or volleyball world cup games or playing the sport. Choosing me would not only help me build my education and skills but provide a great addition to any team seeing as I am hardworking and I always look for ways to better myself and the people around me.
