I'm Emma Sarkinovic and am currently a freshman. Throughout my life I have commited to playing sports like basketball and soccer. However, when I first expressed my interest in volleyball at 12, I knew I wanted to strive to compete at a college level.
Academics has always been one of the top priorities of mine. I value my education and push myself to take rigorous courses to benefit my college success! I study frequently and stay on top of my work at all times to keep my GPA up.
Resilience and passion are two words I vow to stand by whether it is in the sport I play or academic achievements. Having passion is vital to continue doing what you love. Passion helps me thrive in areas of interest like volleyball or buisness and really makes me enjoy participating in things I love. Resilience is vital for recovering after hardships which keeps me going after failures and only encourages me to do better, success always come from failure and being resilient will only keep an open mind and help me strive to get up and do better!
Other than having resilience and passion, I am also very coachable. I enlighten my volleyball undrestanding by taking constructive critism from my coaches and apply it to my game. After school, my top priority is volleyball. I go to practices to learn and grow and I am always commited to my team.
My goal is to attend a college where I can push my academic and athletic success to its full potential. Ultimately, I am open to all colleges, particularly ones in the Northeast, and I strive to find a college where I can compete and improve skill.
