I have learned that attitude and effort are what makes not only a great athlete but a great person. You can not control who is on your team, who your coach is and what the circumstance are of the day but you can control what attitude and effort your bring to each event. I am currently a two sport athlete, I excel in my academics, I am a volunteer in my community and I work part-time. I aspire to play college volleyball and become a pediatric physical therapist.
My collegiate goals are to pursue an education in physical therapy. I have a passion for helping others to be the best that they can be. I am a believer in teaching "no excuses only results".
This year in addition to volleyball I decided to take on track; my mom said that it would be great free training. I found that my drive, my passion and my ability to be ambidextrous makes me stronger in my performance. As a youth I played baseball with boys. I have been coached as a boy and that type of coaching made me tough, seeing my strengths and what I did right in the game. Being coached today in multiple sports, I am able to reflect on many perspecitves and use those to make me a better athlete.
