Highlights of the...Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Christopher Schrum, and I am a 2026 goalkeeper. I have been playing soccer for 13 years, 6 of them playing in goal. I have a 40-inch vertical and can run a sub-6-minute mile. For the past 4 years I have ranked in the top 5 for the entire soccer club fitness test. I have very quick reflexes and I am not afraid of a 1v1 challenge. I work out 5 times a week in the gym and play soccer 4-5 times a week. I also meal prep my breakfast and lunch to ensure I am getting the proper nutrition to perform at my best. I currently have a 3.8 gpa and am working towards a 4.0 gpa. I am in all honors classes, and I am working towards an AICE diploma. As a freshman I entered high school with 9 credits from my middle school education. My dream is to go professional in soccer and afterwards become a chef and open my own restaurant. I am hoping to major in Culinary Arts, but I am also interested in Nutrition and Food Sciences. I am extremely motivated and dedicated to pursuing my dreams.
