Sarah Stanley '20 Recruiting Profile

Throughout the time I have played volleyball, I have personally become a far better person. It pushed me to achieve my best state physically and mentally. I have never been the type to give up or go down without a fight, and I will always be there for my team. In the academic aspect, I currently have a 4.0 and I do not plan on letting myself fall from that. I believe that being smart on the court is as important as being smart off the court. In college I wish to continue to grow, and I am interested in studying orthopedic medicine or foreign policy. 

As for volleyball, I have played for 5 years and I am a Libero/ Ds. If needed, I will also play opposite hitter. My highest weekly serving average from my past school season was a 95% and my passing was a 72%. I am semi ambidextrous so this allows me to hit any ball that is set to me. I have been described as coachable and a determined  player.
