Ivana Coker '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Volleyball coaches,

My name is Ivana Coker, I am a part of the class of 2025 at Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, GA, and I am interested in playing volleyball at the next level in college. 

I am actively looking for colleges to attend where I can continue my volleyball career, and focus on my major. I have done some research and discovered that my favorite schools offer some amazing academic programs.

I would like to tell you a little bit more about myself. I am 5'9, a very versatile athlete and I currently play as a setter and a right-side hitter at A5 Pure Volleyball Club, Atlanta, known as the #2 volleyball club in the nation, where I am playing as #9 on the 15-2's Team led by Coach Victor Wu. I also played for the 2021 season in my school wearing jersey #14; Kennesaw Mountain High School, as a setter and a right-side hitter on the varsity team 2021, and we currently just moved up to the 7A region.

The best event in which I have showcased my talent was at the “Icebreaker”, Atlanta, and Nationals in Las Vegas Tournament during the 2020-2021 season. Some of my best accomplishments were receiving the Most Valuable Player award, all while having a 4.1 GPA and being on the “Principal Honor Roll”. I am sharing this with you because I know how important it is to not only be an amazing athlete but to first be an outstanding student.
