Emily (Emmy) Moody '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emmy (Emily) Moody. I am a high school sophomore and will be graduating in 2026. l am the middle child in a close-knit family of five kids. While I have played a variety of different sports throughout my life, volleyball became my passion a few years ago. The game challenges me both physically and mentally as an individual, but what I really love are the encouraging, competitive, and unifying team aspects of the game. It is impossible to succeed in volleyball unless the entire team unit is working together, and that shared goal really creates a family dynamic that is special. I currently play club for A5 Gwinnett 17-2 National team. I also play varsity volleyball at Providence Christian Academy. As a freshman, I was named second team all region, and also received Gwinnett County Honorable Mention honors. I also broke the school digs per match record three times my freshman year to set a record of 25. We made it to the GHSA Elite Eight. I hold a 4.0 GPA and am planning to major in either interior design or business. My desire is to play college volleyball in a place where I can continue to grow not only in my volleyball ability, but also as a complete person.
