Throughout my six-year experience as a volleyball player, I have learned many important skills. Many of the things I have learned were about the game; however, volleyball allowed me to learn a lot about myself. Through each match and practice, I grew not only as a player but also as a person. I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and how to never back down from any challenge that might be ahead of me. I am looking for a college that not only fits my need as an athlete but also as a student. Because I have played either two or three sports each school year, I have learned how to manage both my athletics and academics. Statistics often define individuals within teams; I believe that my single greatest attribute is my ability to develop strong relationships with my teammates and lift those around me to a higher level. My passion and love for the game has grown immensely and I feel that with my work ethic, leadership ability, playing ability, and positive attitude, I will be able to make a positive impact on your team.
