Hi, I'm Kaitlyn Seifert, and I am a 2026 setter. I have been playing volleyball since I was young and have developed an incredible passion for the sport. I love the incredibly fast pace, and I am especially motivated by the thrill of the game of volleyball.
In both my academic and athletic worlds, I love being tested and challenged. In volleyball, there is nothing more exciting to me than playing in high pressure situations like game point. The strategy involved in volleyball gets my brain going, and I am always thinking through the next step well before the situation presents itself.
I am proud of the fact that I show a lot of leadership on the court. I have been voted team captain by both coaches and my team mates multiple times which I loved. This shows me that my peers see me as someone who can manage the emotion and complexity on the court.
I finished my freshman season with a team record of 23-2. I was proud of the fact that I contributed to that work with 104 personal serving aces helping us win our conference.
I would love to pursue my love for the sport beyond high school, and nothing would make me happier than being a college athlete.
