At this point in my life, I'm not sure what my area of study will be. I love math and science and Spanish and am very involved in my school's key club. My parents are both teachers, so education has always been a priority in my life. From an early age, I have played volleyball, softball and basketball. When I entered high school, I found myself playing varsity as freshman in both basketball and volleyball and so I decided to stop playing softball to concentrate on playing club and travel to better prepare myself for my high school teams. I feel that I have risen to the challenge of playing at such a high level and being so young. My freshman year, I was in the top 10 in the area for assists per game. As a sophomore, I was in the top 5 in the area and as a junior, I was ranked 2nd in the area. I have amassed over 1700 assists in three years and have become very good at using all of my hitters. I have wanted to be a setter for as long as I can remember. I love being responsible for running an offense. I feel that my athleticism and my volleyball IQ allows me to be a valuable asset to any team. I pride myself on getting every second touch so my teammates can focus on their role, rather than setting the ball. I believe in the saying, "You play the way you practice", so I make every effort to model a good work ethic in practice so that my teammates will hopefully work as hard as I do.
