Personal Statement
Volleyball was my first real experience working with a team in order to reach a goal, or in my case, a state trophy. While I have never been apart of a team that has reached higher than a sectional trophy, playing this sport for eight years has helped me grow physically as well as mentally. I know what my limits and strengths are physically- and mentally. I am never ever willing to let my team fail. I am always the one to make sure everyone is up beat, and positive on the team.
Academics have always been a huge part of my life- from getting on high honor roll to being accepted into National Honor Society. I am looking for a college that challenges me not only within my sport but academically as well. I want to learn and experience new things within volleyball and academically in college. I am well prepared to be a leader, stay positive, and learn just as much as I can.
