Karly Bruntjen '18 Recruiting Profile

     Being a varsity starter my freshman year of high school was a dream come true for me.  I couldn’t believe the amount of faith that my coach had in me as a freshman that had never played as an outside hitter.  I knew that I had to work hard to be able to prove that I belonged in that position.  I grew even more as a student-athlete my sophomore year when I became a leader on the team and our team made it to the sectional championship.

     I am very fortunate to be part of an amazing program, and I have realized over the past year that teamwork as well as sacrifice, commitment, and leadership are extremely important.  I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically, as I hope to be a Pre-Med/Biology major.  I believe that I not only have the talent to play for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
