Victoria Huptych '23 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Victoria Huptych and I am part of the graduating class of 2023 at St. Charles North High school. I play volleyball at Sports performance volleyball club also known as Great Lakes volleyball center. I started playing volleyball 4 years ago, in 8th grade, after a 7 year figure skating career came to a end. I decided I wanted to play since my younger sister had been playing for 4 years. I staring off at a small less competitive club called topflight. During Freshman year-volleyball I played middle and continued to play middle on the third team at sports performance. As the next year went on I dramatically improved. The more I improved the more I strived for the best. As the year continued my strive to get better increased. Allowing me to be a very coachable player.  Changing position to a pin hitter allowed me to participate in first contact camps. During 16s season I played as a 6 rotation right side hitter. Allowing me to get more consistent. In my free time I come in to lift to get strong and better with my agility and vertical. I also participated in many clubs at my school as well as having a job as a hostess at GiaMia. In school I thrive to be the best student by challenging my self in all subjects. Taking Ap and Honors classes allows me to do the best I can at school. Wanting to have a successful career with the medical field when I’m older. At home I speak polish with my family thriving to embrace my culture and hoping to pass it along though future generations.
