Personal Statement

If you're looking for the total package in a player, I am it! I am a fierce competitor with a passion for volleyball and WINNING! My parents who were both athletes instilled a work hard ethic in me that is second to none! I am an excellent student as well and am looking for a College to further my education and volleyball career!

In terms of academics, my GPA is 3.5 and I've completed one AP class and three college credit courses. This year, I'm taking another AP course and two more CC classes. I'm planning to pursue a career in either the medical or business field. My past subjects include AP Language Composition, Trigonometry CC Honors, Pre-Calculus CC, and Chemistry 2 CC Honors. This year, I'm taking AP Literature, Organic BioChem CC, and Statistics CC.

. As a player, I'm a hardworking student-athlete with a competitive drive and a desire to continuously improve. I'm always looking for ways to fit in workouts around my busy schedule and I'm committed to being a valuable asset to a successful and supportive team.

I strongly believe that every person has a unique story that reveals their journey and aspirations. I would like to share my story with you.

At the age of 11, my father, a former college soccer player and professional softball player, was diagnosed with ALS. This news drastically changed my family's life, and I became a caregiver to my father while also assisting my mother with my siblings. Sadly, my father passed away a month before my Freshman year. During this challenging time, volleyball became my solace, providing me with the strength and motivation to carry on. In addition, I took on a greater role in our household, becoming more independent, mature, and resilient.

Through these experiences, I have gained valuable qualities that I believe would benefit any team. Specifically, I am a natural leader, with a positive and motivated outlook on life. I approach everything I do with purpose and strive to make a positive impact. I would be honored to bring these qualities to your team.
