Courtney Lindquis...Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old. I am a 5'5" junior outside hitter who plays all 6 rotations for my Dunes Club team. My serve receive is strong and I am quick and strong defensively. I play Libero for my high school Varsity team which I have been a part of since my freshmen year. I read the court well both in back row and front row. I am very coachable and I strive to be the best player I can be. I am very hard working and maintain a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. I made the All Area team two this year for my high school team. I also was invited to compete in the ICGSA Junior All Star North Indiana tryouts. I also competed with the North team last fall. I have been a team captain on both my Club teams and High School team and am open to playing any position at a collegiate level. I am a member of the National Honor Society at my high school. I am also a member of the Yearbook club and the PSI Club (Postponing Sexual Involvement). I am looking for a good balance between academics and athletics.
