The COVID-19 pandemic completely changed my life, causing total disruption in my education. I had to adapt to online learning for fifth grade and navigate the challenges of a mixed online and in-person schedule in sixth grade. Despite these obstacles, I gained valuable insights from these experiences. Among my three sports—volleyball, track, and basketball—I found track to be the best life teacher. It's an individual sport that has taught me self-motvation and resilience. Academics are very important to me, as I aim for straight A's and excel in all my classes. Although finding time for reading is challenging due to my busy schedule, I still cherish it as a favorite non-athletic activity. I welcome mistakes as opportunities to grow and want to share what I learn with my teammates. Balancing school, sports, and other activities is a constant juggling act, but I am determined to find a healthy balance. In addition to my sports, I actively participate in the Jr Beta Club, math bowl, and band. While I remain open to all athletic opportunities, I want to pursue a more academically challenging education.
