Personal Statement
Playing volleyball at the national level for the past few years has bettered my physical and mental game tremendously. Throughout the many hours spent in the gym or the weight room, I have found that I am very coachable. In the classroom I focus and do more than what I need to do to make sure I get where I need to be academically. My academics are my number one priority, and to be able to study Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine is my ultimate goal in college. Playing volleyball at the collegiate level is one of my many goals for college along with being successful in the degree I plan to pursue.
Being a leader in the classroom creates better habits on and off the court. I have been captain for 10 volleyball seasons (High School and Club) and I always try my personal best to help my teammates and myself improve. I am looking for a program that can help me improve even more. I learn more and more each time I play and I would love to continue that at the next level. I look forward to finding a college/university that can motivate and encourage me academically and athletically. Being passionate about the degree I want to pursue and being able to play volleyball on top of that would be truly amazing.
