Personal Statement

As a multi-sport athlete, I have had a chance to explore my athletic ability outside of just one sport (basketball, gymnastics, softball, volleyball, track). Although I have enjoyed all the amazing opportunities, I love volleyball the most. Playing volleyball has not only taught me the proper ways to pass, set, and hit, but it also taught me the social aspect of things including how to be a leader, how to work in groups (teams), and how to be mentally tough. Through Volleyball I have not only grown as a player but also as a person.

My ultimate goal is to play at a competitive college athletically and academically while pursuing my major in Interior Architecture and Design. Not only do I push myself athletically, but I also push myself to be the best student I can be as well. Academically I finished my freshman year with a 4.2 weighted GPA and started my sophomore year with the same.  I would like to go to a school that will fulfill my desire of becoming a better student along with leaving a positive impact on a place that I will spend 4 years.  I know that playing volleyball at a collegiate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I want it to be a part of my journey

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
