Genesis Wanatee '19 Recruiting Profile

My goals in college are to carry on my athletic career in volleyball, and continue to use the talents I have been blessed with while pursuing an education and future career in the medical field.  I enjoy the team atmosphere, where encouragement and confidence are built through bonding with each other.  I get along with everyone I meet and I find it easy to fit in, make friends, and best of all...have fun while we all work hard to achieve a common goal. I have never looked at obstacles in my path as something to deter me away from my goals.  Quite contrary, I see this as a challenge to push myself to overcome the obstacles and move past them.  I use this philosophy in all aspects of my life...athletics, academics, and most importantly to help shape my character and attitude.
