I am very passionate about the game of volleyball and would love to pursue it at the next level while obtaining a degree in my desired field of study. I feel I am a very good fit for the DS or Libero position because I have worked the entirety of my volleyball career to be the best, however I am very versatile and will be an asset at any position on the court. I work hard every day and will always give 100%.
On and off the court, I am an excellent leader. I understand each person on the court plays a particular role and I push them to play the role as best as they can. Many of my teammates rely on me and my words of encouragement to keep them on a steady track during practices and games. I ensure my teammates that I am there to lead them in the best and most effective way possible.
Throughout my years of volleyball, I have learned that mental toughness and knowledge of the game is just as important as the physical aspect. My best characteristic is that after I make an error, I desire the next ball to show what I really am capable of. I love covering the back row and getting each ball to the setter so my team can score. I have a very competitive nature; whether it's a volleyball game, hockey in gym, or a game of backyard football with my family, I always want to win.
I plan to attend a college that provides degrees in the field of study that I am interested in. I have strong interests in the majors involving math, such as actuary, or a major in biology. In school, I am a very strong student that always strives to get the best grade. I manage my time well and do not get stressed out easily. I am looking to play for a college that helps me reach both my academic and athletic goals.
