Elsie Flexsenhar '26 Recruiting Profile

I grew up on a hard-working family farm. I have been involved with 4-H showing and caring for livestock for 12 years. I actively help on the farm doing daily chores and helping when needed. I am also active in our catholic church and our community. I have been around volleyball since I was 3 wks old watching my aunt play volleyball at the University of Norther Iowa. Since I was little, I have attended volleyball camps and playing whenever I can. Every chance I get I will be in the gym setting up nets to work on my volleyball skills with my mom or when my Aunt can come help with my fundamentals. I am a team player cheering on my whole team while trying to keep them engaged in the game for every sport I compete in. I am a multi-sport athlete. I made it to state track in 2 events my sophomore year of HS and placing 5th overall in class 1A in the 400m hurdles, I have been on the HS Varsity basketball team since my Freshman year. Outside of basketball practices when I am able I am in the gym shooting those extra shots, and I am the catcher for our HS softball team. Every sport I participate in I put my full effort into. I am an extremely hard worker with everything I do and also have put many hours of extra effort outside of practices. I am also found in the weight room weekly working with our strength and conditioning coaches.
