Karissa Winkel '17 Recruiting Profile

It's my dream to take my volleyball career to the next level. I am passionate about this game, and I am a team player. I don't only want to improve myself, but I want to help my teammates grow to their full potential. I am a leader on the court because I'm in constant communication with my teammates which helps everyone play their best at all times. I am a well-rounded player. My sophomore year I started varsity as a setter, and my junior year I started varsity as an outside hitter/ds.  In my 2015/2016 club season, I played as a libero/ds! This season (2016) I am again starting varsity as an outside hitter/ ds, and this coming club season I plan to play as a libero. I work hard, and I want to continue to push myself to be the best I can possibly become. Based on my personal achievements, athletically and academically, I am dedicated.
